Andrea has been creating rustic and functional pottery inspired by nature for nearly 10 years. She uses natural elements like tree branches, seed pods, and flowers as inspiration for many of her pieces.
Andrea loves the peace and zen that comes from the potters wheel; it helps her keep focused on what’s important in life: love and laughter.
Over the past two years, her work became much more than just a hobby. It became an outlet for the growth and change she experienced after facing a serious medical crisis with her son, Jaxson. Jax was born more than 4 months early and spent 93 days in the hospital after he was born. He was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. This medical life is a stressful one – and Andrea has turned to the potters wheel to cope and create and to give life to hope.
